THE KAJANG HIGH SCHOOL O B A ( OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION )
The Kajang High School was re-opened on 27 Sept 1945 and World War 2 had ended.The OBA was formed a few years later.Unfortunately it remained dormant and inactive for any number of reasons.Nevertheless several concerned OLD BOYS initiated its revival and convened a General Meeting in the School Hall on 16 Sept 1951. THE HON'BLE INCHE ABDUL AZIZ MAJID MCS ,then the Acting Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan was re-elected President of The Kajang High School OBA at the Meeting.
Delivering his post-election presidential speech ,Inche Abdul Aziz pleaded for commitment and active involvement to avoid the OBA from beeing dysfunctional again.He said :
" Let me tell you that we the Old Boys are now a formidable group.We can count among us men of letters.men of science and men of action prepared and capable to lead.Therefore,if all the doctors,lawyers and pundits amongst us would put their shoulders to the wheel,there is nothing humanly possible in this world which we cannot as a group accomplish.It is in this spirit thai I appeal to you all now. I know too that most of us are very busy men torn with cares and responsibilities but let us amidst this day-to-day turmoil subscibe a tiny portion of our interests and resources to the great cause of the Association.I am sure the result would e phenomenal ! "
