MESSAGE FROM DATO ABDUL AZIZ bin HAJI ABDUL MAJID.,P.M.N.,PJK.

When I went to school I often used to wonder what it would be like to be an "old boy".I suppose this was just part of the complicated process of growing up.Now I have been an old boy of the Kajang High School for more than 33 years , and this year I have the honour to be the Chairman of the new Board of Governors. For both these reasons, therefore, it gives me a great feeling of both pride and pleasure in being asked to send you a message of good wishes.
For nearly every man there is always one school which holds a warm place in his heart. As he grows older he tends to look back with increasing affection to the days when going to school was the most important thing in life.It is only when he grows up that he realises how much he owes to those who taught him as a boy and to the friends he made in school.
Today when I meet old boys, sooner or later our talk will drift around to tales about the old school. It is only natural for me to reflect on what I have done and learned in the years that have gone by since I left Kajang High School and to note how lasting and lmportant the influence of school can be in the shaping of a boy's future life.
Many old boys of Kajang High School have played an important part in achieving independence for Malaya, and many of them in his own way,are now helping to create and build our new nation.I am sure there is not one of them who( looking back as I am doing now) would not say that one particular characteristic of Kajang High School which has helped him more than anything else is the spirit of friendship, cordiality and tolerance so evident and natural among the boys of all races in the days they were at school.
No man can make a success of life unless he has respect for his fellow-men.Therefore,I would urge all of you to value every single minute of the time you are at school , and to foster a spirit of friendship with all those about you. As has been the case in the past ,you will find that these friendships will last you all your life. One day you will know,as nearly all old boys already do,that these are loyalties which will endure; they are indeed a treasure without price.

                                                                                 Permanent Secretary,
